“Welcome to the best thing ever. I am going to eat an entire Yellow Pages telephone directory over the course of the month of October, 2008. This may not sound like much, but look at the figures:

1584 pages.

52 pages per day.

With the time I have to work with I’m on 8 pages an hour.”

There was a time when most businesses were found through their storefronts and ads in the Yellow Pages. But newer media — TVs, cell phones and computers — are beating out the old, traditional standbys.
